Dominicano, vivió en Holanda hasta los trece años y jugó en equipos juveniles. Hace tres años la madre emigró desde Holanda a los Estados Unidos. Juega para la Martin Luther King Jr. High School en New York. Esta escuela ha sido campeón en 13 de las últimas 14 temporadas de PSAL (Public Schools Athletic League), que es la organización que controla los deportes de las escuelas públicas en la ciudad. La escuela está rankeada número 9 en todo Estados Unidos, número 4 en el Estado de Nueva York y, desde luego, número 1 en la ciudad.

Juega de delantero y esta fúe su última temporada pues se gradúa este año, existe la posibilidad de que alguna universidad se interese en él.
